Privacy policy

• When you contact us through our form, by email or on Instagram: your name, email address, phone number, shipping address and your message, including which shirt you’d like to order.
• When you apply to paint: applications are made through a Google Form. Google processes that information under its own privacy policy, and we use it only to run artist selection.
• Analytics, only if you accept: anonymous page-view statistics (for example, which pages are visited and from which country), so we can improve the site. We don’t use advertising trackers.

When you pay: payment is made online by card or bank transfer through the payment details we send you. Card and bank details are handled by the payment provider or bank, not stored by us. This website has no user accounts.

• To reply to you, confirm your order, take payment and ship your shirt to you.
• To select artists and run painting sessions, and to issue certificates.
• To understand, in aggregate, how the website is used.

We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we don’t use it for advertising.

We use a small number of services to run the site: our website host (Vercel), Vercel Web Analytics (only if you accept), Google Forms for artist applications, Instagram and WhatsApp for messages, our email provider, our payment provider or bank, and the courier that delivers your shirt. If a form service is used to deliver contact-form messages, it receives what you type into the form. These providers process data on our behalf or under their own policies.

When you first visit, we ask whether we may count your visit with analytics. If you decline, no analytics run. We store your choice in your browser’s local storage so we don’t ask again. You can change your mind at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer.

We keep messages and order details only as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry or order, and to keep basic records of sales. Artist applications are kept for the session they relate to. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Many of our artists are students. If you are under 18, please make sure a parent or guardian is happy for you to apply or contact us.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email painted4purpose@gmail.com and we’ll respond as soon as we can.
